High Quality and Long Lifespan
The grinding surface of glass nail files consists of microscopic sharp spikes that are evenly distributed on the surface, unlike that of cheaper files where the coating is sprayed on.
As a result filing nails with glass nail files is gentle yet efficient at the same time. Nails, after treatment with crystal nail files, are smoother than after usage of ordinary paper or metal files  so they do not split and peel. Long-term use of glass nail files helps prevents nails from chipping and contributes to overall well-being of the nails.

The grinding surface of ordinary paper or metal nail files is made by attaching grains to the  base. The grains tend to fall off/wear away after some time, meaning the file gets blunt and needs to be replaced. The grinding surface of crystal nail files is created right out of the file body, by acid etching onto the glass surface. Because of this, it means a practically unlimited lifespan of crystal nail files is achieved.

Hardwearing

All glass nail files from our production company pass through hardening process (chemical
hardening), during which their mechanical resistance is significantly increased. A
certificate issued by an accredited laboratory confirms that the mechanical
resistance of hardened glass nail files increases on average by 100 % in comparison
with non-hardened files.

Hygienic 
Our crystal nail files are not porous, which means that they do not absorb water and therefore multiplication of germs does not occur. The files can be disinfected and sterilized by any means (heat, liquids like e.g. 60% ethanol, UV light). Even in aggressive conditions the properties of crystal nail files are not influenced, the files do not suffer from corrosion or any other negative change of their properties. Decorated crystal nail files should not be exposed to solvents and temperatures over 200 °C, because under such conditions the
decoration might deteriorate. The qualities of the file itself are not affected.

Safety
The material the file is made of is a flat glass of common composition, which
does not contain any dangerous, deleterious or allergenic components. The 
safety of crystal nail files has been confirmed by a certificate elaborated in an
accredited laboratory of the National Health Institute of the Czech Republic. Plus
the glass is an inert and easily recyclable material, and so better for the environment.

Our files come in a pvc sleeve and will easily fit into a handbag for portability.

As they are made of crystal glass, please be careful not to drop them as they may break.
